When Kings hate Queens

Contributed by Another_Dimension on Wednesday, 19th May 2004 @ 08:14:28 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

There on your throne, you both seem alone
Even though you are sitting close together
It's there in your face, that hating disgrace
That i know you both hold for each other

I know she may seem, like she is the Queen
But i know that she feels like a peasant
Yes he is the King, Who knows not one thing
about getting his Queen a present

Poor little Queen, always turning so mean
Although it's not all because of him
They both hate each other, i see through the cover
All your hurting does not go un-seen

Poor little King, should learn how to sing
So he could sooth his Queen to sleep
although knowing him, he'd take on this win
and out of the castle he'd creep

But this is all normal
In our castle of hate
And things can't be changed
because now it's too late

Poor little princess, putting up with this
It will all change one day
The day i get away
But as for now; all i can say
Is
This is what it's like
When the Kings hate the Queens
