Freedom, the paned cat

With hushed pad and lithe tread
Of feline prowess, there's much to be said
Stalking gracefully throughout the house
Occasionally pouncing the imaginary mouse
So like his cousin in the wild
Only lack of stature keeps him mild
From sunlit sill where he's lazing
For some prey, he keeps gazing
Watching, waiting from paned mat
A coiled spring, this grey-striped cat

Lovely write. Yep, they bring them home and get the love and you get the responsibilities. Life is so grand with boys.

*smiling ear to ear* I've heard so much about this kitty, I had to read this. Cats are super, I know I absolutely love mine. Freedom...what a great name.
Peace and hugs,
Me |
