I am who I am
I won't change for anyone
You can tease me
Or torture me
But I'll still be me
Sorry I'm not who you want me to be
Sorry for expressing my feelings and thoughts
I have my own style
And my own attitude on life
I have my own sayings
And my own cloths
They may not be stylish
Or what you say they are
But thats why there mine
And not yours
You say I try to act like you
You say i try to be just like you
But I'm not, I'm trying to be me
And untill you get to know me
And know what I like
Untill you become my friend
And can except me for me
Stop saying what you say
It really does hurt

This a really great poem and personally I wouldn't have called it sorry since you aren't the one who should be apologizing for who you are, those that torture you with their hurtful ways should be apologizing. |

BlackAngel, I really like your poem. You express your message so clearly. I know that you are a very intelligent person and will go far with your talent. If not poetry, perhaps communications of another means.
I am an older person, so I will prompt you as a teacher would. Cloths should be spelled clothes. Where you wrote except, you mean accept. They are small mistakes that don't detract from your valuable poem. I gave you a 5 rating. Keep writing. Your friend, Bizzy |
