This is the perfect night

"This is the perfect night"
By: Danielle

I would throw my arms around you
The hairs on our sweaters fused together
When I’m around you everything goes fast
I wish I could make these moments last
Our hands…
Intertwined together, clasped, gasping for air
No words are spoken
Not now at least
I’m taking you in
Making you a feast
I tell you I love you
You respond with excitement
Lift me up and say it back
Twirling me, holding me tight
This is The Perfect Night
You set me down
Hugging me
you pull me away
Look into my eyes
And lean in
Our thoughts meet
Sparks fly
I for once in my life would hate if I die
You hold me tight
I feel light
This is…The Perfect Night
