So you lost your trust,
And you never should have;
I never should have.
I shouldn’t break my back
Being everyone’s friend
And answering all
I’m in a bullet proof vest
With the lights all down low
I’ve been doing my best
Just to live
Through an eyeglass lens
I’ll be seeing my life
I’ll be seeing it fall
So they came after you,
Just pulling out your hair;
Just pulling out my hair
I shouldn’t break my back
Being everyone’s friend
And answering all
I’m in a bullet proof vest
With the lights all down low
