Rosa Parks
Mother of the civil rights movement
Voice of all teh blacks
She stood out
And sat down
Where she wasn't welcome
Seaming for life
In the land of the free
She was arrested
To start her boycott
She was helped by King
And fellow blacks
One year later,
She won her boycott
With no violence,
Or blood shed

This was a tribute to that wonderful lady. How nice it is that you sort of started your poetic phase of life with words that honor Rosa! Bizzy 'Clean is beautiful!' |
