Loving you

Contributed by Dragontear27 on Tuesday, 18th May 2004 @ 08:44:22 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I stare at you form a distance
hoping you will someday see me
and learn of my existance

Then i meet you that glorious day
that was the first time i was in love
it was like heaven but i could think of nothing to say

I unveiled my feelings for you on the spot
you gave me an akward look and said
that you'd never love me like i thought

Instead i'd only be a friend to you
that was the only thing you asked from me
those words peirced my heart and even now they still do

So now i know my place in your life
its only to be a friend and nothing more
it feels like i've been stabbed with a knife

So i think to myself was it a waste of time
to go after somthing that wast true
and all the things i said to you i rue because all i had to say was i love you.

wow, great poem, i also knew someone for years like that, only it was slightly different as we went from best friends to planning a whole life together and then he said, 'oh lets be friends, you are unworthy to be my wife' i cannot even stand to talk to him now, i wont, he was so ungenuine to me, hopefully at least you still have a friend in her and i think it is comendable you told your true feelings, hugs n' love nessa
