You took your knife, your cut ran deep, will you think of me in your eternal sleep? What do you think of as you watch the blood steadily flow from your veins? Are you numbed by this red river streaming down your arm? Are the tears that pour from your eyes tears of regret and sorrow or are they tears of relief? Was this the only way you could think of to wash away your pain? Dark shadows of past torture and remorse cover your face, your feelings are veiled by this same darkness. In your last breath, will you be thinking of me? Or will you slowly slip away from me in your silent misery of lonely regret?
