I lay in a field of my dreams where there is a purple sky fly over me
when times get rough and my past comes back to haunt me
I close my green eyes and picture myself in a world where there is no harm
A secret world where I can run around free and swim in clear water streams
Feeling like a little kid again as clouds float by me that you can eat like cotton candy
I lay in this world and sing a lullaby of hopes and dreams that one day will come true
I love being in this place
where the pain is gone and no tears of sadness
A garden of little pink flowers you can put in your hair
this is my secret world to escape
laying down in the field of dreams watching my purple sky fly over me
this is my lullaby

This is extremely similar to "Imaginary" by Evanescence. Seeing as the song is a great one, I must say this is a rather good poem.
