i do apologise if i offended anyone with the foul language...this is how the poem reads without it...
eyes open
new morning
one more feeling dawns
this day - already - fails in every way
cursed...doomed...damned
oh god this sucks!
reach inside my skin
to pull me out but
where is the me i was
before this morn?
and mourning still
the loss
i cannot grasp
though i strive
i do not understand
where or how along the way
i wake
conscious yet blinded
fearing i will never see
the why in this
or make sense of it
this beginning
this path that's leading
god knows
could bring an end
nearer my demise
or my desire for.
thank you to all those who read and comment on my poems* |
