Gazing out my window, if the dogwood tree could talk—what stories would it tell
And looking at the flower’s bloom, I see the story of a Savior’s love that cannot fail
Of pain and grief I know I caused
I thought of this-- it gave me pause
And when I am alone, with my troubles each night
Complaining to GOD about the battles that I know I am too weak to fight
He reminds me, when the storms come from everywhere
He hasn’t left me—he’s still there
He suffered, he bled, and he died
For my sins I know he cried
And he gave me a reminder so sweet, with all its beauty
For all the world to see
On a TREE on Mt. Calvary
He loved us so much! He died to

love the message, really... just i know i've read this before from somebody else... perhaps the description of the rugged cross is coming out like beating the dead horse, or it's just me...

beautiful words, so earnest and full of truth... if only more will understand He is our true liberty, from our own bondage of sin and Hell! We need to keep shouting Love's Liberty to all. God bless. |
