My happiness can never last
Death in the shape of a stake,
My suffering vaster than a lake
As pure as a swan,
Baby I’ve watched you for so long
Tonite you wouldn’t understand,
So many shadows make up a man
I’ve seen you run, I’ve seen you hide
I’ve held you as you cried
We hold hands when we say goodbye
Swore to each other that we’d never die…
