The Treasure That I Should Find

Contributed by swiftsouljah on Tuesday, 18th May 2004 @ 12:04:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

It seems like
Everyone profits
From my struggle
My Beautiful
She still has a best friend
My crew
They still got a homie
My parents
They still got a son
What about me
I ain’t got a numba one
It seems like
Somewhere in the struggle
I left myself behind
Somewhere in my search
I lost the treasure
That I should try to find
How can I help
Someone else
When I don’t know
Who I am
How can I smile
And live another day
When livin
Starts the killin
And I already know
That death
Is only the beginning
Of the struggles
That await me
Cause
What do I got
After I give
My heart away
What’s left
Heartbreak
Then what’s next
Sitting all alone
As isolation sets in
Comfortable loneliness
As I wait
For the pain to begin
As I witness
Myself wasting away
Hoping and wishing
Praying for a better day
All because
It my first time to fall
And my last time to love
Trying to give a girl
Myself
And not lose it all
Wondering if
A girl will ever think
That I’ll someday
Be worth it
Doubting that
There’s a girl
That could live with me
And together we’ll be perfect
Who could take this love
And help my life be
All I could ever dream
Who would love me
No matter what I do
That can’t wait to make
One heart of two
A girl that could see
My worth within
A girl that can
Leave my past behind
And handle who I became
The girl that walks with me
In God’s master plan
Yes, thats the treasure
That I should try to find
