Together Again

Sitting in the same old room,
Dodging darkness,
Setting between the sheets with silence,
Chasing ideals
Until, one day,
Caught real.
Oh these dreams will follow
Where you lead.
And I'm falling in line,
Falling in deep,
Falling open
To openness.
Truth reveals itself,
The form it takes,
Alive in every solitary surrounding
Although absent.
And my fingers remember your face,
Your features fresh at my tips.
My thoughts trace your lips
Til mine are sweetened by
The promise of your kiss again,
Full and longing for its taste.
Close my eyes and reveries relive
The moments spent safe,
Secure in your arms,
Wrapped warm inside my wishes
Each one sought and found within.
Your voice, soft, lulling my heart
To a gentle beat.
Serenading me, stealing mr
Til I'm deep, lost and loving it.
My heart harbouring,
Anchored in you.
Oh, these thoughts entwine
With hope,
As I,
Sitting in the same old room,
Breathe for my belief of
Being where you are,
Settled beneath the sheets,
Together again,
Finally.

Goodness, so much here, and you must miss him terribly. A wonderfully romantic write.
