I just met the man in the moon,
I tell you it wasn't too soon.
He had this great wish
which was locate the dish
that ran away with the spoon

Oh dear Norm, I was once young, too
And I learned this little rhyme,
just like you
My folks were so proud
when I'd say it aloud
as I was so prone to do!

I was young once too...
Well, I'm still quite young...
Although I DO remember learning the tale.
This is one of your cuter poems, and I like the nostalgia you've included. You make me smile, as always.
Love,

Norm when I was young no one taught me this nursery rhyme......but soon I could read, and read it all the time. I'm so glad the moon is finally looking too, I always wondered where they had run those two.
I loved this limerick......you are still young at heart Norm.......have always been right from the start.
