Light Years Away From Myself

selfstruggles
|
The hands on my clock forever read the end
But I manipulate time and continue to live
Every fraction of the second spent
Amazed at myself
Amazed that I still breathe
The more time I kill
The more it kills me
In need of help getting back,
on my own two feet
And it’s sad when I think of
All these words that remain so useless
My reflection adrift on the horizon
One that seems to gain speed
Moving further and further away from me
