You said you’d always be there
You said you were my friend
I just sat there and watched you turn your back on me
Time and time again
I believed you when you said . . .
“I’ll always be there”
I believed you when you said . . .
“I’ll always care”
But yet when I needed you
Where were you at?
You certainly weren’t there
To watch my back
And when I screwed up
Were you there?
No
Because you really didn’t care
