Sunday.
Evening stares
Out into a lonely night.
Whisper gently neath the breeze,
Your name hums softly,
Teasing to the
Sweet ease of sleep
Or just the place of.
Sunday slumber...
Wrapped warm
And dreams drift,
The time when
Your face amid
The constellations.
And stars bow
Fore the grace
And kind beauty.
Your breath, pure,
Airs this out
And softens the edges
Of a rough day.
But evening stares
Out into another lonely night,
Empty.
Illusions...Deep held wishes.
You are Sunday's child
But never mine.
