I stared forever out that window
I watched her cab glide away
Leaving me to protect myself
without a lesson or a clue
left alone but with him
HIM, how could she leave me to him?
I never felt so trapt as then
I never felt such anger as then
I never hated anyone as i hated him
Yet she left me alone, with him.
I managed to get away from there
but the pain and rage will never end
and i will forever have my problems
because he took so much away
why did she leave me there to rot?
how could she trust me to him?
how could she leave me period?
she was my best friend
the only one who cared
the only one i had
and she took herself away from me
and now i never want her back.

this is really good and so angry, there can be so many meanings interpreted from this poem which makes it good and ambigious. I think thats very hard to, and the kind of emotions you show here are very hard to show. You are very brave for writing something as powerful as this. |
