If the last thing I could see was your smile,
that light in your eyes
I'd hold on to that picture in my mind,
and I would be content to close my eyes forever
If the last thing I touched could be your face,
I'd willingly surrender my body to numbness
If hearing your sweet voice could be the last sound I hear,
I'd record that melody in the ears of my soul,
and forever embrace the silence
If to choose the sweet fragrance of a rose or the exhilirating aroma of our bodies pressed together, I would elect our bodies, in hopes of our souls blending as one
Should the day come when I can no longer see your face, feel your touch, hear your voice, or smell your presence
Then I shall choose to die, having lived life to the fullest
Being loved by you

Auh very touching. The hardest thing in life must be to contend with loosing the ones we love, for their the ones that keep us together. However as sad as it may be I do feel it is always beter to have been in love & lost than never been in love at all. Because memories to are everything.
Ps. welcome to the club.
