The clouds pass slowly
Over the sun-setting sky
Where my thoughts become only
Of this moment by your side

I can feel your breath
As you lay your head on me
The sensation on my neck
Of sporadic bursts of heat

Nothing else exists
As long as you are here
Surrounded in this bliss
My concerns all disappear

The comfort of your body
As you lean on me
So long I’ve felt so empty
I finally feel complete.
