Out in the streets, and down on my knees'
I pray to the Lord above, to give me what I need.
Starting with his love, which is as pure as the whitest dove.
I pray for all my sins to be forgiven, and washed away clean from my darkened soul,
For I carry a very heavy load.
I tell the lord that I have hurt so many in my life,
And how all this pain cuts into me, deep like a salted knife.
I have seen all of what evil can throw at one man,
And I have seen how one man, can throw it all back, with a glorified hand.
I have told the lord, how I have seen the darkest side of every moon,
And how I hate to follow in the shoes of another goon.
I raised my hands high, as the moonlight sparkeled from my bloodfilled eyes.
I have taken another life on this night, and I am not proud.
So now I am calling upon you lord, please help me for crying out loud.
Lord take my blackened soul, and burn it in the light.
For this lord shall be my last darkened night.
Let me walk this land, with a cross in my hand,
And to never look back again.
Lord I pray for you to set free, all of the souls , that lie within me.
Burn me in the sunlight, and give me back my mortal life.
For I am sorry my lord, for I have not walked in the likes of the light.
For three hundred years I have waited for this day,
And for three hundred years, these are words, that you would never hear me say.
Hear me my lord, and set me free, and let me live my life, pure and clean.
