Oh, you traitors! Giving away my secrets to all,
As down flushed cheeks from eye to chin,
In twinkling rivulets you seek out a path to fall.
Will no sense of loyalty keep you in?
But betrayal is your destiny my little chaos theory
Defectors, tumbling balletically to chance attractions,
Pausing and posing prettily while you denounce me,
Your diamonds sparkling in the half lit refractions.
What mistress do you serve, what oaths do you keep?
As over microscopic hairs, no woman likes to admit to,
You course, and millisecond directional changes sweep
And shape your salty flow, holding balance which way you’ll go
You sneaky conspirators! Scheming your petty intrigues to tell.
Red rimming eyes as you plot against my vanity
And, knowing that it took me so long to make up as well,
Adding disfigurement to your crimes against my humanity.
But you can have your moment in court.
Play to the gallery, maybe even take a bow.
No deterministic force of will or thought
Of mine can hold you back now.
