One Of My Days

Contributed by lifefliesby on Sunday, 16th May 2004 @ 04:06:36 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I wake up early
And gel my hair
I'm usually late
So I fly down the stairs

I sit and I eat
And I run out the door
Just to stand there
And wait and wait some more

I get on bus
Say goodmorning to Pete
Walk twords the back
And take my seat

I ride for an hour
And then off to school
Where there's always a test
On a new, unknown rule

So I walk outta Math
And walk inta' Tech
Where one time someone
Had soldered my neck

So I get outta there
And go straight to lunch
Where I sit with my friends
Who love me a bunch

Lunch get's over
And I'm ready for learnin'
So I go get my book
And get ready for German

After getting confused
For an hour an'a half
I run up the stairs
And get ready to laugh

I sit and I "learn"
Of "new things" in English
Like
Suffixesismationlyish

So I GET OUT OF THAT CLASS
And walk to the bus
As I realize my brain
Has turned straight to mush

I ride for an hour
Yes, an hour again
On the bus, where thank god
There aren't any men

So I take to these girls
And I joke and I flirt
And I like one of them
So I'm always alert

But they all get off
And I'm riding alone
For another half hour
On the bus which I "own"

But then I get off
And say my goodbyes
To all the little kids
Who think I'm SO WISE.....

So I walk inside
And through my stuff down
And, for some reason ask,
Should I bike back to town?

But then I wake up
And realize thad be stupid
So I log onto the net
And talk straight to cupid

But that becomes boring
For I never get answers
Only pop-ups for
Yound exotic dancers

So I log off the net
And go to my room
Where I blast my music
Til' my speakers go BOOM

I sit in my room
Until I go back online
And then my dad calls
Cuz it's time to dine

After I eat
I go listen to music
Maybe soon later
Go call up a chick

I start to get tired
And go take a shower
And start to lay down
About the ninth hour

I lay in bed
And look past the sorrow
Cuz I know that THIS
Will all happen tomorrow

I get up have coffee
then I lay back down
would it be worth it
to go in to town

nothing to buy
no money to buy it
I just roll back over
why bother to try it.

One of my days (I'm 55 LOL...) Great Write!

*giggles* Oh, hun... you need to be more optimistic... and maybe more agressive in your approach on life.
I love ya anyway.
