Pandora's Box
Can you see a lil deeper, under the crust of a silt?
I hope there are people left with this special skill
Splinters of life never go off
I wear them proudly, they're a sort of
Armour that keeps wrapping me inside
It's not a protection, neither hard shield
It's my record, an imprint that sealed
An espalier of strides I have behind
I've walked alot and in memoriam of that
Is dust on my shoes, sand on my hat
I won't rub away what I want to stay
They can't say I'm dirty
I'm full of memories
