today i saw your pain...it hurt me more than anything...the way no tears ran down your face but a blank stare sat in place instead..i thought somehow if i could have

my hand entwined in yours for the last time... cant replace time... cant replace a heart..or a soul. just to sit and pass the time and think...if i could have

just to think that i could have changed this... if it only could have been as simple as fire prevention....or something like finding a way of knowing what is to come...

as life throws these unexpected curves at us we wonder...if i could have .. and we never kno what it would have been like even if we did
