Mom I Need You

Contributed by TheBirdMan on Tuesday, 8th October 2002 @ 02:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Mommy's sick?
She's going in the hospital?
Hope you get better mommy,
I love you.

Yay, mommy's better
Now we can have fun.
Lets go to the beach or the park.
Life is finally back to normal.
Im so glad your back mom.

Oh man the cancer came back
Looks like another month with dad.
Why wont it go away mom?
Im getting kind of sad.
I hope you get better mom,
I know you will.

Finally, mom can come home again.
You're the greatest mom
You're so strong.
We beat the hell out of cancer!
Go back where you belong!

Not again, you have got to be kidding,
The doctor said its gone
This is not right!
You are all better, you're not going back again.
That place is a hell hole,
You hate the food
You hate the smell
You hate the hospital
I hate the hospital

Another day in the hospital room
Mom is sleeping
She can hear the words I speak
But she can't reply
I hope you like the card I made mom
Im your special guy.
Im gonna play some checkers with dad.
I love you mom.

Why did dad leave so suddenly?
Something is wrong
Whats that feeling in the pit of my stomach?
I gotta find dad.
What grandma?
Mom's with the angels?
This can't be true
Not me
It can't happen to me
You only read about this stuff
No way in hell
We are a perfect family
All four of us
Oh my god
My suspicions were true
Mom's eyes are rolled back
Damn cancer
Damn you god why could you do this to me?
But I need you god
I need you
Life is going to suck now
Im so damn miserable
I love you mom
I need you
