Beautiful Dreamer

Beautiful dreamer,
Your sweet dreams are made of tears.
As you silently sulk in your beautiful melancholy,
The stars shine brightly,
And the moon illuminates the night sky.
The memories of your tainted love plaque you,
And your dreams haunt you.
You cannot come to terms with this.
You look to the constellations for condolence,
But find none.
The angels twist and scream as they burn in your toxic flames,
For they can feel your fury.
Wake unto thee,
For the starlight and dewdrops await thee.
This is not at all how you planned it.
Your plans are now distorted.
You continue on blindly,
And try to ignore the pain.
Oh, beautiful dreamer,
Your sweet dreams are made of tears.
