When darkness falls
We all should know
That this world we inhabit
Is never to grow
Grow to learn
Of the truth that divides
The lessons unlearned
The vast number of sides
Surely the right and wrong
We are taught to be true
Can’t eternally apply
For there’s another view
Our cultures separate us
Because we can’t see
It’s our differences
Which should brace our society
As my eyes gaze
Upon the starry night
I ponder this:
Will we ever get it right?
The answer, I tell you
Simply is no
For the world slowly dies
Leaving only what we owe
