A dark day in the
United States of America,
two boys decided
they were going to
create havoc in their school.
I wonder what
they were thinking,
when they turned a
quiet town,
into a devastated town?
They went out on
a rampage,
not caring about
who they were
going to hurt.
So much blood
was shed,
so many innocent lives
were lost in this tragedy.
These boys considered themselves
as being brave,
they weren't brave....
they were cowards.
IN MEMORY OF THE STUDENTS AND TEACHERS THAT LOST THEIR LIVES APR. 20/1999.

Cynthia,
I feel the pain of these families. I have fought all school year this year against bullies in my district. I know first hand what they can do to kids and understand how a person might take revenge to the extreme that was Columbine.
Super write on a touching subject.
Hugs,

Beautiful, touching write . . . every time you outdo yourself, Cynthia :). A wonderful tribute to the victims of that tragedy. May they be remembered forever.

Excellent write of a senseless tragedy and loss of lives. I have to say to the above person that posted Happy Birthday Columbine that I find that a disgusting display of heartlessness. I doubt seriously that that town feels this anniversary date each year is anything but Happy.

very nice tribute. This was such a sad incident. I really dont know what people think when they do stuff like this. In my high school, every lil thing was taken to the extreme, regardless of whether or not it was a joke or not. After that, the possibilities were endless and they took everything serious. |
