Walking down a deserted highway
trying to hitchhike to nowhere
like the gravels under my feet
I exist without a care.
So many things in life
I wanted to escape
So many decisions in life
I wanted to unmake
Down this old highway
I am running away
to plant my roots elsewhere
and to start growing another way
