Your just like a puppet on a string,
Being taken underneath angers wing,
It’s a force that lays dormant inside you for years,
It feeds and grows from you inner most fears.
You can feel it rising in you like bile,
Venturing out on the red mist mile,
You try and control it , you struggle and fight,
But like forbidden fruit, you only have to take one bite.
It holds you, controls you, makes you it’s slave,
Like riding a ferocious, monstrous tidal wave,
You’re at the mercy of this poison inside you,
It consumes you, it lives in you, there’s nothing you can do.
You feel powerless against this deadly force,
You ride it unwillingly, like a devils horse,
Try as you will and try as you might,
It’s got such a hold on you, with a grip that’s so tight.
Anger boils and runs through your veins,
It just makes you wonder who really controls the reigns,
Just remember every-time you clench your fist,
You’re doing the work of the deadly Red Mist.
