It blows in on the breeze-
A freeze-
As cold as it's been in a long time
I hear a scream- Is it in my mind?
Am I alive- in this winter so cold-
Am i young or am I old?
How do I make sense of all this
Drive myself into a lake and freeze-
Be preserved?
When they find me 200 years down the road-
will they leave me alone?
Afraid of my putrid face-
Will they recognize my race?
Winter thoughts seeping in
When do summer thoughts begin?
