Tripping Up Thunder

LoveRemembered

As I watch the ducks in this reality,
Bobbing upon water, calm and free
I remember the days I couldn't feel
The wind hurl,
For I lived with you,
In a surreal world.
The power of love met us
And took instant hold,
We radiated passion
To drown winters cold.
And it seemed everyday
Proved miraculous blue
With skies of forever
And a rainbow struck through.
Then when love left us,
I sank so deeply under,
But I still recall the days
When we were tripping up thunder.
