Coming Clean

Topic: Suicide

Anxious...
Like waiting for an exam to start.
Hiding it for so long,
And now coming clean.

How would they react? What would she say?
When my therapist tells her,
"Your daughter is suicidal".

Will she break down? Will she cry?
Or had she known for months already?

The shame I felt on that day,
When everything kept inside,
Had to come to the surface.
