The sting of a blade is
Lost in the greater pain
Constantly felt.
Blood dripping down an
Arm that is part of the
Huge pain that consumes.
With blood running out
Goes the life and the
Intense pain.
The blade slides deeper.
Blood flows faster.
Life is leaving slowly.
As the blade cuts,
Tendons are revealed,
Muscles are shown,
Veins are severed,
The beauty inside is
Revealed to all.
Blood continues to
Drip down to the floor,
Puddling there.
Light shines in the
Red blood.
A face is reflected.
A face that once had
Torment and pain,
Now only has
Peace and serenity.
