Still Life

Still Life

Somewhere in a country, people stand and stare
Somewhere in a country, trees are so bare
Somewhere in a country, the sky is so grey
Somewhere in a country, night is also day
Somewhere in a country, birds do not fly
Somewhere in a country, no wheat or no rye
Somewhere in a country, there is no sound
Somewhere in a country, no power to be found
Somewhere in a country, high on a hill
Is a madcap doctor, practising germwarfare
Life is so still

***********************************************

Weirdo Factor

Weirdo factor in the street
Created by, supernatural heat
Plants are growing, ten feet tall
Machines taking over, one and all
The earth is moving, changing shape
The sky is drawn, like a drape
Rivers are dry, they hold no water
Ground's near boiling, getting hotter and hotter
People have given up, there's no use defending
They know they are beaten, their world is ending

***********************************************

Beach

It's the year of damnation
Destroying centuries, of civilisation
Ruing the earth, wasting the land
Everythings turned, to a dusty sand

Nothing is safe, from this dark evil
All is barren, life is infertile
Void of colour, totally bland
Everythings turned, to a dusty sand

Water has dried up, lakes no more
Earth has exploded, from a central core
Not one sign, of earth or land
Everythings turned, to a dusty sand

this is perfectly dark. i love this, it shows the earth in 3 ways. which is so true in the fact that earth is going nowhere but down in the end. sadly. because of our senseless destruction, our cutting of the rainforest, our depletion of natural resources. the world will be gone soon enough, it will be one entire trashdeposit. the way you put this into words is so amazing. i love it
