I was on a high, or was it low
I was living life fast, or was it slow
I was speeding along, or was i cruising
I thought i was winning, but i was losing
I was gambling it all, money and life
I would gamble my mother, gamble my wife
I gambled by day, or was it night
I knew it was wrong, but thought it right
I would throw the dice, take a chance
I would study the numbers, in a trance
I was gambling my car, gambling my house
I would gamble a cat, gamble a mouse
I gambled by day, or was it night
I knew it was wrong, but bet you it's right
