My Best Friend!!!

In life you can have many friends,
With an ear or shoulder to lend,
But there is only room at the top for one,
The one who doesn't judge you on things you have said or done.
My best friend has given so much to me,
Shown me true love and made me see,
Opened my eyes to all the great things in life,
Show me that life needn't be full of grief and strife.
For this person, I would walk to the ends of the earth,
I can't put into words how much to me this person is worth,
I count my blessings twice when I think of him,
He's the one who stopped me sinking and made me swim.
He has picked me up when I've been down,
Shown me that love doesn't wear a frown,
Given me the courage to ask for help,
And not to just stack my problems up on a shelf.
When we are apart it feels like I've lost a part of me,
I know with him, that this is the happiest I could possibly be,
He is my best friend, my companion, my lover all rolled into one,
When my day is gloomy, he is my sun.
He holds the key to my heart,
I think that I knew this right from the start,
As each day goes by, I love him more and more,
When I'm feeling down,he lifts me up, makes me soar.
Mark, you are the special man who's made me whole,
The only one who has ever touched my very soul,
From me to you, this poem I send,
Mark, you are my very best friend!!

hey see told you i could learn a thing from your work, this is a fantastic poem, nice write!!
got some good meaning and heart felt lines,
