Behind Blue Eyes

"Behind Blue Eyes"

Behind Blue Eyes
You sang to me,
Yet haven’t held me
What is it you see behind blue eyes?
My thoughts come out
With your unruly doubt
Yet you know how I feel
My questions to you can’t be answered
That’s because I made them,
They make you question me about certain things
Behind Blue Eyes
You say the words, “I Love you”
I know the words like I know the back of my hand
But from you I’m confused
Behind Blue Eyes
You say you love me
I question you
You try hard to make me understand
I play stupid yet it’s the truth
You play smart ass like I’m all you ever wanted
But I am?
This is confusing
My head starts to hurt
Why the hell did you choose me?
Behind blue Eyes
I push you away
Before you can think of something wise to say
Behind blue Eyes
