the DraMa

Contributed by Marcus493 on Wednesday, 12th May 2004 @ 09:59:24 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Somebody got shot. Somebody got killed. Oh I guess it's real in the field. Cause when i was in the hood the drama of being real. I got so much to live for and so much more to die. Some see the red white, and blue. I see a bunch of cowards hiding behind what was never true. lies death and deceit made this country. Not honesty and well being. Could just be me not seein what I go through. The flag has colors and it's loved. I have color and I am hated and misthought of. Hopin when heaven was created I was thought of. Is God black or white we fought of. Me just hopin he's every color from every nation. So he could feel through each shade what i'm thinkin. All I can say Is God bless and keep me just.

Quite well-written . . . might be just a liiiiiittle bit better if you put it into some sort of organized stanzas (no offense) but you bring up some good points here and you say them well.

"I got so much to live for and so much more to die."-- perfect. Very well put and remind me to look out for more poetry by you in the future.

Good write.
Come back alive and write us your relief, and the experience you were given.
Good luck.
