Arising from her watery grave
Going in search of what she craves
Watching from the shadows as a child walks by
She descends on him with a joyful cry
Blood flowing past her lips
As into his tender skin she rips
Gazing upon his body she sees her new child
Looked down on his opening eyes and smiled
He awakes on the cold, wet ground
And looks upon his eternal playground
Through the darkness they do roam
Searching out more for them to bring home

very good. I loved the descending on him with a joyful cry brought lots of disturbing imagery to my head. All around an amazing poem.
