as i walk here,
i stumble across your road.
you won't let me breathe,
or lift a foot on my own.
by refusing to allow me,
my insanity is in stone.

-chorus:
i know i have failed you,
i can see it in your eyes.
i know i cannot mend this,
this i cannot lie.
but you have broken me so...
you have ripped me so...

cold sweats...diar needs...
pulse raising...get away from me...
this lead i'm bound by,
take it off please.
i'm so tired of begging,
and these blisters on my knees.

-chorus:
i know i have failed you,
i can see it in your eyes.
i know i cannot mend this,
this i cannot lie.
but you have broken me so...
you have ripped me so...

-bridge:
i thought my calls would be answered.
i heard my voice through the air.
what is there to live for?
everything.
but you told me my heart could not care.
is it all to die for?
no.
but you took care of me right there...

-chorus:
i know i have failed you.
i can see it in your eyes.
i know i cannot mend this,
this i cannot lie.
but you have broken me so...
you have ripped me so...
(2nd time through, more dramatic singing.)
