The tears whell up in my eyes
And you are not here to wipe them away
My heart aches for you to be here
For me to be near you
Then I hear the dreaded words
“Hon I don’t want to come down, can’t you just come here”?
I smile, although you can’t see it, but it’s a fake
And politely say,
“We will see”
Why don’t you want to come here?
Why can’t you see it’s important?
Now I am back to questioning:
Are you really the one for me?
Do you love me?
You told me once
But tell me again
Am I the one for you?
I know this is silly
And I know soon I will sleep
And wake up
Totally in love with you again

Very nice - I totally understand how you're feeling. I think alot of us get that with guys. Just like guys do with girls - 'Spose it's 'cuz we're all lazy at some point.
