in the blink of an eye
things can go wrong
so many people cry
so many people die
war has taken such a toll
there are sites hard to see
fly our flag high apon a pole
leave no story untold
our heros most unknowen
have died in battle
none of there tears showen
they have died brave men

Good poem - make you stop and think what some men go through just to keep our asses alive.
Thanks for a different type of poetry! - It's nice to read a little bit of difference once in a while.
