Through tear stained eyes, I write with this pen
For our Grandpa, the strongest of men
A hundred years long, we all shared his love
Now he’s been called, to the great land above
A pillar of strength, many changes he had seen
Through many wars, different worlds he had been
A proud man in life, standing on his own two feet
A proud man in death, as his maker he will meet
So Grandpa go rest, in the land up above
Knowing that you take with you, all of our love
Life does not end, a new beginning it starts
And love does not vanish, it stays in our hearts
