in great depression comes great pain
a weakness in civlizations link
the innocent lay slain
life dies in with one blink
the lose of many for a few
death tolls high
things done we cant undo
the ones left living cry
how can we inflict such pain
the innocent die for a cause
does it get us any gain
time stands still in a pause
blink once and you die
a bullet a bomb a shell
no tears to cry
just a personal hell
war is not the way
dosnt anyone care
why cant you see this today
war is an outrage and unfair

| well this 15 year old understands where you are coming from. war is necessary because the nature of humans makes it so. the price of peace is not war though. good write. |
