in a week of leisure time
i found my world so sublime
nothing pending in my brain
my mind relaxed no sign of strain
chores could wait laundry too
i did nothing but think of you
into your word i tried to sink
my heart is true and to you a link
filled with love you have for me
i try to be what you want me to be
im human Lord hear me cry
you know Father...i do try
