Self-Slicing Through Crimson Layers.

Contributed by deathdrop on Tuesday, 11th May 2004 @ 08:10:29 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Acid red drops,
Make rounded jewels on my skin.
More collects, turning crimson.
And that’s where it all begins…

It over flows silently.
I watch it come down my arm.
With streams of liquid crimson.
And red anger, so I won’t feel calm.

Then the flames start to break out!
And everything starts to spin.
And forgotten pain rises from my soul.
Then is sucked back in.

Around my dark slashes,
Red circles come.
I cry in silence,
My heart thudding like a drum.

I wipe my wounds with tissue.
I cry with pleasure and pain.
I promise my-self it’s the last time.
But then I go and do it again…
