i was laying on the beach
nightlife
feeling only the cold
and wondering
where is my mind
shimmer of silver
in the dip before the tide
a million tiny kites
soaring through liquid
simply. team peace.
bitter green grass
stumbling oblivious
in the shadows of temporary trees
counting their days
as you count thighs
hot and brown
funneling my life
three ways
fast and hard
too late to see the sunrise

i really like this, it has my kind of randomness that i don't normally reveal to other people! it's good in that it isn't 'laid on a plate' yet is reasonably simple to understand (or maybe that's just me...!)
